Online Learning

Online learning allows you to study at your own pace using your computer and an internet connection. Online learning is becoming very popular. Our courses are interactive and use multimedia technology. We also provide support from a trainer to assist you throughout your training.

All of our Certificate III Courses, Certificate IV Courses and Diploma Courses are available online. This includes our aged care courses, disability courses, home and community care courses, community services courses; and our management courses such as the Cert IV Frontline Management, Cert IV Training and Assessment, and Cert IV Bookkeeping. Online education is a popular way to learn as it is flexible and help you achieve the same nationally recognised qualifications as face to face learning.

Free Training and Government Funded Training

The College offers a range of government funded courses for both existing workers and job seekers. Some are heavily subsidised whilst others are free courses! We also offer traineeships to eligible candidates to help people get a qualification while they continue to work and earn money. Glossary of Terms

The training industry, like many others, sometimes speaks its own language. The glossary below provides more information about some of the common terms used on this page

Certificate III Certificate III courses are nationally recognised qualifications that prepare you for employment in a variety of jobs.
Certificate IV Certificate IV courses are nationally recognised qualifications in more advanced skills and knowledge than Certificate III Training.
Distance Education Distance Education allows you to study at your own pace. Online learning is a form of distance education using a computer connected to the internet. We also offer distance education with printed materials where you prefer to work with hard copies. With National College Australia a trainer assists you throughout your learning process and you can request help at any time. All our courses are available by distance education so you can choose a Certificate III Course, Certificate IV Course or Diploma Course.
