Online Education for People Just Like You

We’re more than just an online classroom. We understand that online learning can be daunting if you haven’t done much with technology over the years which is why we’ve tailored our courses and our processes to keep things as uncomplicated as possible. When you enrol in an online course with National College Australia, you’ll discover that there are many ways to feel connected outside of a classroom.

It’s worked for thousands of others, it can work for you too.

What it’s Like to Study at National College Australia

Let’s start at the beginning. Before we can set you up, we need to make sure we’ve got you in the right course first. You’ll need to put some time aside for a one on one interview with a Course Advisor so we can get to know you and make sure you’ve chosen the right course.

Assuming you have, we’ll get you into our systems within a few days at the most and contact you for an induction session. We want to make sure you understand how to use the online portal, the assessment requirements and your rights and responsibilities as a National College Australia student. A thorough induction is crucial to your success so please make the time for us when you’re asked. After induction, you’ll be ready to fire away!

During the course, it’s important to us that you feel ‘connected’ because this will make all the difference to your success (and ours). You’ll be given one dedicated assessor who will work with you from start to finsih but you’ll also have access to a dedicated Client Services Coordinator and Work Placement Coordinator at different stages of the program.

We understand that everyone learns in different ways and at a different pace. That’s why we offer online study courses that fit around your family, work and other commitments. Whether you’ve never studied before, or it’s been a while since you hit the books, our courses will give you the best chance at a successful completion. They’re designed for people just like you.

How You’re Assessed

Our online courses can be completed whenever you like, wherever you are. It’s a great way to fit study in around your work and lifestyle. Simply log in on any device and learn at your own pace. Each course is made up of theory and practical skills required for the workplace.

There are no tests or exams; there are range of different assessment tasks to assess your knowledge and ability to do the job.  Assessment tasks are marked as ‘Satisfactory’ or ‘Not Satisfactory’. ‘Not Satisfactory’ tasks are able to be resubmitted.

When all assessment tasks for a unit are completed satisfactorily you will be granted a ‘Competent’ which means you have required knowledge and skills for the entire unit of competency. A ‘Not Yet Competent’ result is given for a unit where the knowledge and / or skills are not at the required level.
